The bike as it stands now, fully restored by Luca Di Marino with grateful thanks to the staff of Motori Di Marino for helping me along the road. See below for the whole story... 21.05.10 (Day 1): In the raw!
22.05.10 (Day 2): After a shower & the addition of handlebars with TWO ends!
Dismantling commences....
25.05.10 (Day 5): Engine stripped (bottom end)
26.05.10 (Day 6): Scrambler seat fitted (tank re-fitted for mock-up) & Cylinder head stripped
04.06.10 (Day 15): First of the parts return..... Polished parts :-
Vapour blasted head & barrel. Valves being ground and lapped...
19.06.10 (Day 30): More polished parts return. Mounted into the engine stand, custom-made for Ducati Singles by Motori Di Marino
01.07.10 (Day 42): Cylinder head re-assembly. All parts of the cylinder head are laid out ready to be assembled

02.07.10 (Day 43): Tank returns from being chromed.
07.06.10 (Day 48): Bottom end assembly. Old bearings removed & cases heated up for new bearings to be put in.

09.06.10 (Day 50) : Frame stripped for painting Frame being stripped
Frame and other parts ready to be painted 12.06.10 (Day 53): Head & Barrel attached to bottom end (engine completed)
16.06.10 (Day 57): Wheel rims, wheel hubs and brake plates return from polishing
20.06.10 (Day 61): Frame & Other painted parts return
21.06.10 (Day 62): Swinging arm, centre stand, new shock absorbers, headstock & polished yokes assembled
27.06.10 (Day 68): Engine mounted, wiring loom installed & console with genuine Ducati clocks mounted
05.07.10 (Day 76): Wheels return from re-building (with stainless spokes). Tyres and tubes are fitted.
06.07.10 (Day 77): Rear wheel fitted, chain attached, rear brake cable & sump gaurd put on 26.08.10 (Day 128): First of the chroming returns
27.08.10 (Day 129): Forks are ready to build
28.08.10 (Day 130): Forks re-built, put in frame and front wheel fitted
07.08.10 (Day 140): Di Marino original design exhaust system (and Di Marino heat shield) fitted. Tachometer, odometer and throttle cables attached. (bars fitted for mock up)

05.10.10: Painted parts return. Progress a little slower as back at 6th Form!
